Don’t get caught by the latest scam!

With the self assessment tax payment date of 31 January fast approaching and many people filing their tax returns this month, the latest scam seems to be doing the rounds.
The latest scam is being sent via text, advising that you have a tax repayment to claim, or even tax to pay. In the text message there is a link to what seems to be a legitimate site (see image below).
Please do not provide your personal details on this link.
HMRC will never ask you to provide personal information via text, email, etc. Please be careful, and if in any doubt, please contact HMRC (or indeed MoynanSmith).
